Up in the hills of Covington, KY exists the Futuro House. Original designed as a ski cabin by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen, these prefabricated houses were built during the 60’s and 70’s and only around 100 were made.

Growing up in Cincinnati, I remember my family’s trips home from visiting relatives in Pennsylvania, crossing the Brent Spence Bridge from Ohio into Kentucky and looking for this house hidden in the hills of Covington.
